About my practice
Therapy can seem to be a daunting undertaking, but it does not have to be. Together, we will discuss important issues in the present, and also address the past. We will look at your family of origin (the family you grew up in) and your environment. We will address current and past thinking and perception patterns, behaviors, and feelings. I can help you gain skills to cope with problems that are keeping you stuck. In my work, I use mindfulness skills, and may give homework (short readings and reflection exercises), and highly encourage journaling, meditation or some form of self-reflection between sessions.
